Preemie Baby Clothes

Included in our Preemie Clothing department are items of clothing that are designed to fit babies weighing up to 8 pounds. Most “newborn” or “3 month” clothing is designed for babies weighing 7 pounds or more. Many parents of full-term or near full-term babies that are less than 7 pounds have a difficult time finding appropriately sized clothing even though their baby was not technically premature. This department includes clothing made for a variety of size ranges – please see the detailed descriptions of each item and its sizes to assure that you are getting the right clothing for your premature baby.

Our Premature Baby Clothing category includes clothing designed to fit babies weighing up to 8 pounds. Each manufacturer uses different weight ranges for its designs. Therefore, some items in this department may be for preemies weighing in the low end of this range or smaller; and some items may be for preemies or underweight babies weighing in the high end of this range or larger. Please see the specific weight ranges for each item to assure that you are getting what you need for your preemie baby.
