Kidco Gate Installation Kit

KidCo has assembled the materials and fasteners necessary to properly install any child safety gate to wood banisters, hollow walls (drywall) or wrought iron. The KidCo Gate Installation Kit can save several trips to the lumber yard and hardware store.

To install all style safety gates in locations other than wood framed doorways, you will need one Kidco Gate Installation Kit for each gate side that is not being attached to a solid wood wall or door frame. Some applications (wrought iron) require two installation kits for each gate side. In many cases, even pressure mounted gates need an installation kit to allow for baseboards or surfaces that are not parallel or to protect hard to replace wall coverings from gate damage.

Comes with instructions for use with wood banisters (two methods), hollow walls, and wrought iron banisters. When mounting the gates to unusual surfaces such as brick or concrete, KidCo recommends that you consult a hardware professional, baby shop or baby proofing specialist.
